Decades of Community Services

Keeping Eyes on the Goals. It has been years of hard work, and persistence. Self-emptying, and austerity. Hurts and healing; breaking and mending. The joy in fine, is giving back to earth, that has given us so much. To all who have done much more, thank you for being there!

In 2011, I embarked on a challenging community project with a group of local volunteers. Our mission was to rescue a school building Ezinifie, Aguata Local Government, that was at risk of being washed off its foundation by erosion. What started as a simple task of a few bags of cement and blocks turned into a complex project that required us to construct gutters, plant grasses, and take measures to prevent further erosion. It was a difficult undertaking, but one that I am proud to have been a part of.

Open defecation poses a serious threat to the health of pupils, exposing them to various infections and diseases. Therefore, it was a worthwhile effort to build a suitable toilet for the nursery section of the school in Aguluzigbo, Aniocha Local Government. This will ensure a safe and healthy environment for the children to learn and grow.
